About

We are a community allotment, run by volunteers, who strive to create a thriving community green space, with bi-weekly sessions that are open and accessible to everyone.

We aim to empower people to cultivate their own chemical-free food, grown using the no-dig method (Charles Dowding), which produces healthier crops and helps better protect the environment and surrounding wildlife.

Our activities give people the opportunity to connect with the outdoors and the associated nature, improve their physical and psychological health and wellbeing, formulate friendships to help reduce isolation, feel part of a community, share home-grown seasonal harvests, exchange recipes, combine and share skills, help preserve the environment, play, laugh, have fun and simply share a conversation over a cuppa, which is often accompanied by a delicious home bake!
