Danny's Dream

Danny’s Dream offers a personal assistant service which supports service users to be supported in their home, and the community to engage in meaningful activities. We aim to enable service users to live their lives in a safe and inclusive environment and as independently as possible.

Our service is for adults who have profound, complex and multiple physical and learning disabilities and require a one-to-one Personal Assistant to help them with daily tasks, social support and accessing the community.

We also have a club that can be offered in addition to our personal assistant service, this is an accessible space which includes activity spaces and a well-equipped sensory room. Our club environment includes changing spaces to meet our service users personal care needs, shower facilities and hoisting equipment is available to ensure that we can meet the moving and handling needs of our service users.

We aim to provide a safe place for individuals to be supported with personal care, using designated changing spaces to meet service users personal care requirements. One of the spaces also has a wet room and offer hoisting equipment for use by non-weight bearing service users in line with their specific moving and handling plans.

We also have a safe environment to support with a range of medications administration including administration by specialist technique via PEG/JEJ and emergency medications administration if required.

We aim to provide this in a safe, private and dignified manner, whilst in conjunction with the individuals needs and requirements. We also promote independence as much as possible.
